Diana Gay Johnson passed away on May 16, 2024. She was born in Birmingham on January 1, 1939, and raised as the only child of Thelma Lou and Alvie Gay. She is preceded in death by her husband Joe R. Johnson and prior husband, Vincent C. Morros. She lived a long life and was an accomplished tap dancer and instructor in her youth and also as a senior adult.
Diana raised her three children in Homewood, AL while married to Mr. Morros. In her later years, she lived on the outskirts of Pell City in a rural setting with her husband and spent her time gardening.
Diana is survived by one daughter, Kim Gause; two sons, Gregory and Stephen Morros (Lee Morrison); one granddaughter, Sarah Gause (Marshall Lewis), and one great-granddaughter, Evie.
