Constance Jane Nelson

Constance Jane Nelson was born in Camden, New Jersey and raised in Haddonfield, New Jersey. She was a champion swimmer and the captain of her high school field hockey team. She met the love of her life, Donald Nelson, while attending the University of Delaware. A more devoted and loving couple you will never find.

Jane was the mother of four natural children and a mother to dozens more. Jane was Gram to eleven grandchildren. Jane set an incredible example of how to love and serve others.

Jane and Don eventually settled in Birmingham, Alabama, where Jane rose to the role of Assistant Vice President of Regions Financial Corporation.

Jane is survived by her husband, Don; her four children: Doug, Becca, Julie, and Tom; her three children by marriage, whom she considered her own: Hollie, Jason, and Rebekah; her eleven grandchildren: Bayley, Nick, Zach, Alex, Grace, Tim, Matt, Abbey, John, Luke, and Eleanor; and her siblings: David, Betsy, and Sally.
