Carolyn T. Snow

Carolyn Thoman Snow passed away on March 2, 2015. She was born in Sherman,Texas on May 28, 1924. She was a resident of Birmingham, AL for 61 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irma Lea Hardway Thoman and Lewis T. Thoman and her husband of 62 years, Edward Bigsby Snow, her brothers Charles Thoman and Lewis Thoman, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth “Bee” Snow Robinson (Ed) and Edna Lewis Snow. Grandchildren Peter Lea Birdsong (Aimee), Leslie Birdsong Sizemore (Randall), Bigsby Collin Jensen, Julia Edna Jensen, Niece, Barbara Thoman Rhodes (Allen) and many great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Country Club of Birmingham, Gaieties Dance Club, SSS lunch club and an active contributor to many charities.

She attended Mountain Brook Elementary, Phillips High School and the University of Alabama.

We would like to thank Optum Hospice Care for their kind and tender care of our mother during her illness.

Visitation will be at Ridouts Valley Chapel Saturday, March 7, 2015, from 3-5pm. Online condolences can be posted at www.ridoutsvalleychapel.com.

Private interment will be in Paris, France.
