It has been eight years since you left & be with God in heaven. 
I pray for you every morning hoping that the sort of heaven be decorated with the lotus flowers you love so much!Thank you for so many lotus photos you’ve shared. My deepest condolences for his family.  I have been deep admirer of Mr Aarzad's work.  His images are, and always will, my goal to achieve.  I am very very sorry to hear of his passing.  I sadly have lost the opportunity to meet him face to face, but I have his images and books which I will cherish.

I was searching online and found out that he passed away. Bahman, mentored me years ago when I took a photography course. He was a wonderful teacher and I looked forward for those weekly lessons. He was an artist and a great photographer. His black and white pictures, especially of the Calla lilies were amazing. My condolences to Parastoo, whom I personally worked and shot a wedding with. His will be deeply missed. 

I worked with Baham for many years and he was always gracious and kind. When he was my boss, he took me under his wing and trained me on many things. His photographs in black and white are beautiful. He will be missed. 

Id never met Mr. Farzad in person. However I feel gratitude torwads him because through his extremely beautiful work posted online and his book about spot metering I could overcome a difficult period in my life. May the beauty of your images be with his spirit. Thank you Mr. Farzad!

Dear Bahman, i just read from flickr that you passed away today.  i am really saddened by the news.  Although we never met personally and we live world apart, i have always admired your lotus work.  And thank you so much for letting us use your photographs on our website www.uttayarndham.org and in our book Sukati Sukato.  Your work is beautiful and exceptional.   The lotus pictures bring so much peace and tranquility to the heart.  Wherever your spirit is, i send you all my best wishes. May your lord be with you and may you receive all the good karma that we have done.  Everytime that i look at your photograph from now on, i will remember your kindness and your spirit.  With Love

My husband worked with Bahman at Sungard for many years. I'm just learning of his passing. Bobby spoke to highly of him and he was always so kind to me when he saw me, always stopping to chat. I am so sorry to read this and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I am so sad to learn of Bahman's passing. Though we hadn't seen each other in several years, I was recently thinking of calling him before my next trip to Birmingham. My deepest sympathy to Fari, Parastoo, Ahmed, and all the other people in this warm and loving family. Bahman will be deeply missed. He was so many things to so many people--husband, father, artist, teacher, and friend.

I only new Bahman online as a photographer. He produced beautiful images and influenced my work greatly. He will be missed by so many.

Bahman came to the Charlotte office on several occasions to help us out. He was a pleasure being around.  I went out to dinner with him and as you would guess, he took his camera. 

Many people in the office expressed their sorrow on the news of his departure.

Bahman was such a joy to work with - he always made everyone feel so special. He always told me "Ms. Cheri you are so wonderful". I could always count on him to uplift me. Please know he will be deeply missed by so many of us at FIS/SunGard. May you find peace in your memories.

I used to work with Bahman at Sungard and took a photography class from him years ago at UAB. What a Wonderful Man. So full of life. I used to call him Einstein because of his hair... he would always put a simile on my face. He will be missed

For as long as I can remember, this man has been in my life.  Documenting every one of my appearances at persian parties, holidays, and family get-togethers.  He inspired my love for photography and helped nourish it in any way he could.  I was constantly gifted with reflectors, tripods, lenses, advice, etc.  Each handed to me with a smile and a promise to use these everyday.  I use these in every picture I take, and my fond memories of him and his wonderful advice will forever live in my heart,  I promise to constantly strive to be even half of the person he was.  With his infectious smile and heart-warming greetings, he was the living and breathing version of the lotus flowers he photographed everyday.  I just wanted to say thank you, Bahman.  I will forever miss you, but I know you'll be looking down on me every time I pick up my camera, helping me be the best that I can be.  I vow to live by the words you spoke to me and to bring my camera wherever I go.  Again, thank you for everything and I love and miss you more than you could ever know.

Bahman and I were co-workers at SunGard for many years. Upon arriving at Ridout's today and seeing the overflowing parking lot, people being dropped off, etc., it brought to mind how many lives he touched in a positive and affirming way. Whether if was his infectious smile, which alternated with a boyish grin, his good (sometimes mischievous) sense of humor, passionate explanations of photography techniques, or ability to see the beauty in all things, he made an impact on many people. My favorite Bahman story is definitely when airport security stopped him because of a pizza cutter! To hear him tell this was classic. My favorite picture of my two girls is one that Bahman took at Botanical Gardens approx. 18 years ago and it still sits in my living room to this day. My prayers and thoughts are with the family during this time. Bahman lived a blessed life and he loved his family foremost.

Such a patient, gifted photography teacher to his many groups of novices. His generosity and humor will live on in his students, and we shall never forget to use our Grey cards! Thanks for everything Bahman!

I was so very saddened to hear of Bahman's passing. He and my dad worked closely together for many years, and, of course, he was also our family photographer. Bahman was such a light and one of the most joyful people I have ever met. I am very grateful that my family and I ran into him just a few weeks ago and were able to share all of our most recent life adventures.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family and friends.

I loved his passion for photography and for helping others develop their photographic skills: As he always says "no if ands, or buts!" My prayers are with his family during their time of loss.

Bahman was a dear friend to me for close to 40 years. Through CARS, Dyatron and SunGard. I have not talked to him in a few years but he remains in my heart today and always. When you are touched by someone of his character you do not forget. He was a true friend to my husband and loved my children. He always called me a "great teacher with much patience". He was full of compliments for everyone and always so humble. My thoughts are with his family, his passing will leave a great void in this world. Bahman  you will be greatly missed by all.

Bahman and his wife live behind me and my family. While I have never met his wife, he was always so sweet to my son and loved to talk to my husband Gerald. I considered myself blessed to have received over the years not one but four of his prized lotus. He was a beautiful humble soul and I'll never forget the first time I met him when I turned to go back in the house he had a huge smile on his face and said "love y'all". 

Every year when the lotus bloom Bahman will too...

Bahman was one of the most gracious, kind, helpful people I ever had the pleasure of working with during my years with SunGard.  He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone.  I don't know what we would have done without him during the early AddVantage installation days. Although I haven't seen him in a couple of years, I will always have a warm spot in my heart for him.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.  He was truly a good man and will be missed by all who worked with him.

I returned to SunGard (now FIS) and Bahman was one of the first folks I met in the Birmingham office.  His wit, his warmth, his artistry and his intellect enveloped me and made me feel welcome.  I had a chance to see him and get a quick hug on my last trip to Birmingham at the beginning of July.  He spoke of his family with great love and pride.  To honor and remember him, I am making one of his photos my screensaver; I know it will bring a smile each morning. Bahman worked very closely with my husband for many years.   They were very dear friends.   Without a doubt, the greatest gift he gave to us and our family was to memorialize our wedding in incredible beauty through photography.   Those pictures capture both the love we share as a couple and the friendship he felt with my husband.    He will always be in our hearts, and these precious portraits hanging on our walls.

Deepest regrets for your loss. I never met Bahman in person; only on the phone over the past many years working through issues with my laptop that he always handled.

His voice is something that I will always remember! A couple of years ago, we were on the phone discussing an issue that led to us talking about our families. I was shocked to find out he was much older than his voice led me to believe; so young in spirit, enthusiastic & joyful to serve.  I thought to myself, I hope I can be like Bahman when I'm his age! 

I pray you are comforted and encouraged in knowing Bahman was much more than a co-worker for me but a friend who taught me to have a youthful spirit in all I do.

I had the pleasure to work with Bahman on many occasions during my time here at FIS/SunGard.  I never had the opportunity to met him in person, but felt like I had a dear friend just from our phone conversations.  He always greeted me as Miss Dolly and would comment on how he loved my Southern accent.  You could hear the smile in his voice.  His assistance with my concerns were always handled with expertise and kindness.  I will miss him.  My prayers and condolences are with his family at this difficult time.  God Bless!

I met Bahman in 2008 working for SunGard, and since have had the pleasure of seeing him over the years when I was in the office. Without fail, Bahman was smiling and happy every single time I saw him. His joy was contagious, and he shared it with every person he knew. Bahman also shared the beauty of art with all of his colleagues by displaying his photography in the SunGard lobby for years. I am grateful for knowing him and the privilege of seeing his incredible works. My heartfelt condolences go to his family at this time. Bahman was a warm and wonderful soul. He will be greatly missed!

I met Bahman while visiting the Birmingham office in 2003. Always helpful and pleasure to work with. Enjoyed talking and commiserating about our work/life challenges. I am deeply sad and will miss him tremendously.
