Patricia Anne Wich (Gillen) passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012, surrounded by her family. Born May 13, 1935 in Middletown, New York, she is survived by her husband of 55 years Bob (Robert), her children Barbara Geho, Jeffrey (Bobbie Jean), Steven (Eva) and four grandchildren Danny, Jason, Robert and Joshua. Pat is also survived by her brothers George and Michael. She was preceded into the eternal rest of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by her parents Leonard and Margaret Gillen. Pat is a direct descendant of the Bulls, founders of Bullville, New York where she grew up. During the course of her education she was head cheerleader, a member of the band and the 4H club at Pine Bush High School. She attended St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1955 as a Registered Nurse. Pat worked in Labor and Delivery her entire career. The last 26 years she worked at Baptist Hospital of Miami where she brought many children into the community before retiring in 1995. The Wich family moved to Homestead in 1968 where Bob was stationed at Homestead AFB. Pat was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Homestead and the Christian Women’s club. She was a faithful servant, serving in many ways such as the family life and financial boards. Pat had many interests in her life with her love of God and family being number one. She enjoyed baking, scrapbooking, china painting and reading. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2012 6:00-8:00 p.m.at Branam Funeral Home.
