Marvin Aloysius Wobbe

Marvin was born on May 3, 1942 in Breese, IL the son of Frank and Elsie (Huelsmann) Wobbe who preceded him in death. He was married on October 2, 1964 in Belleville, IL to Donna (Andrews) Wobbe who preceded him in death on July 29, 2022. Marvin retired from Capital City Chrysler in Jefferson City, MO as an auto mechanic. In his sparetime he enjoyed working on all vehicles and spending time with his family.

Survivors include: three brothers, David Wobbe (Ann) of Columbia, MO, Mark Wobbe (Donna) of Ashland, MO and Don Wobbe (Pat) of Harrisburg, MO and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two sons, David Wobbe and Marvin Wobbe; three brothers, Francis Wobbe, Roger Wobbe, and Charles Wobbe and one sister, Rita Waulters.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2022 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit, MO. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Inurnment will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO at a later date.
