Jo Ann Kennon

Jo was born February 14, 1940, in Flat River, MO the daughter of Clinton and Emma (Nichols) Bible who preceded her in death. She retired as a schoolteacher at Sunset Academy in Colorado after several years of teaching. Jo enjoyed the simple things in life, such as sitting outside and taking in nature with her family.

She also enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, reading, ceramics, crocheting and watching reality TV shows. She will be missed by her family.

Survivors include: two sons, Scott Kennon (Natalie) of New Bloomfield, MO and Jeffrey Kennon of Jefferson City, MO; one daughter, Gayle Kennon of Jefferson City, MO; one sister; three grandchildren, Orrey Kennon, Colton Brown and Katie Kennon and six great-granddaughters. She was also preceded in death by her son, Travis Kennon; one brother and two sisters.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
