William was born in Baltimore City, Maryland to William David Harmon Sr. and Sylvia J. Harmon on May 4,1961.
Bill was a man of remarkable dedication and hard work, known for his unwavering commitment to his profession. He started his career in the heavy construction field with Kiewit in July 1999 and worked his way up to General Superintendent III. Throughout the years he has worked up and down the east coast, finally landing him back in South Florida. His strong work ethic, passion for his job and the incredible people he worked with each day were why he loved Kiewit so much. Bill truly inspired those around him, leaving an indelible mark on his colleagues and peers.
Beyond his professional life, Bill was a vibrant soul, the life of any gathering with his outgoing and outspoken nature. His infectious laughter and boundless energy lit up every room he entered, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Above all, Bill’s greatest joy in life was his family. He loved them fiercely, and his devotion knew no bounds. His presence brought warmth and comfort to his loved ones, and his absence leaves an irreplaceable void in their hearts.
Bill is preceded in death by his Father and Mother, sons William Harmon lll and Corey Faircloth.
Bill is survived by his wife Kelly Harmon, children Stacy Longo {Louis}, Brittany DiRocco {Marco}, Aiden Harmon, Heather Reid {Anthony}, Michael Harmon, Jessica Douglass {Mike}. Grandchildren Bradley Airey, Jacob and Autumn Longo, Masen, Maddox and Mia Harmon, Riley and Finn Douglass. He has 8 surviving siblings. George Pase {Skip}, Donna Ross {Dave}. Edie Harmon {Jim}, Shannon Walter {Mike}, Sylvia A. Goody {Kevin}, David Harmon {Kayla}, Joey Harmon {Tammy}, Michelle Stewart {Steven}. Too many relatives to name individually, all dearly loved.
Visitation service will be held at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home, 6501 Taft St., Hollywood, FL 33024 on February 28,2024 from 11am-2pm. Funeral to follow 2pm-3pm @ Memorial Gardens North, 3301 N 72nd, Hollywood, FL 33024.

To Bill's sister, Shannon, your unwavering support and presence brought immense comfort to Bill and our family during his final days. We are also deeply grateful to Bill's dear friends who stood by him and provided strength and companionship during his illness. Your friendship meant the world to him, and your presence brought light to his darkest moments. Additionally, we want to express our sincere appreciation to all the doctors, nurses, and respiratory staff at Memorial Regional Hospital East. Your dedication, expertise, and compassionate care made a profound difference in Bill's journey, and we are truly thankful for the comfort and support you provided to him and our family.
