Thakoor was born No. 59 Village to Benni & Hardai Ramjattan on May 4th, 1936. He went to school at Skeldon. He worked as a Machine Operator for Zaloom Brothers for 15 years. His hobby was attending horse races at Gulfstream Race Track. He enjoyed singing Bhagans at the Krishna Mandir.
Thakoor is preceded in death by Parents, Benni and Hardai, & Brothers Harold and Saga.
Thakoor is survived by Children Mahendra, Monica, Rajin and Terry: brothers - Edwin, Oscar, Roy, Ronald, Ovid and sisters - Iris, Baby and Wattie: Grandchildren - Brian, Sean, Nicholas, Ryan, Sonali, and Steven.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 8:30 am, Wednesday, May 1st at 6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter Funeral Home.
