I am still in disbelief that Robert is gone. My deepest condolences to the Hannon family. There are no words to ease such hurt but may God’s angels comfort us and help us to focus on the positive impact and energy that Robert brought to our lives. My whole heart goes out to the Hannons and Barcants..I became friends with Robert through his Scotch Bonnet venture, assisting in organising for his parties to the very detail of his expectations. After getting to know him, Robert was more than a good friend, if there is such thing. He would see me even when I couldn't see myself, and that I can never replace...there is no other like Robert. His family and his mommy was his life. I admire his strength, persistence and yet calm and sweet approach to everything in life. Robert was an exceptional person, with a heart of gold, a passion for life and his loved ones...and the spirit of a true warrior..I am at a total loss without that light in my life now.. As much as it hurts my heart to have to say goodbye oh too soon, I know you are in God's arms with your dad. Until we meet again...Robert, may your soul rest in eternal peace, love you ❤⚘

Billy was a rare man who selected his friends wisely and could ALWAYS be counted on. He made you feel safe and  always thought about how to make life even more special. My earliest memory of Billie was holding him as a baby in White Street when his father delivered products to my home. I would say in Arabic where is the light? He would look up and point to the light bulb.

Thelma, I have known Billy as long as I have probably known you. We always had time to talk and share our experiences . Billy was very caring to me and would always stop and chat with me wherever we met. He certainly had a good heart. Before he went to Jamaica we had a long chat, and to see today that he is gone, is painful. Thelma, Charmaine, Troy and Debbie please accept my sympathy. His passing  is very painful. I ask God to give you and all those grieving, the strength to cope with the loss of our dear friend, brother and son. Billy, may your soul RIP .

Can’t believe you are gone . Billy was like a brother as he grew up in our house at Russell Heights. It was always good to see him each year he came to Jamaica. I met Robert twenty years ago when i was invited to Clyde house to play dominoes. I just arrived from Jamaica and I was told that the dominoes school was the place to be on a Wednesday night. We partner for the first time and that was the start of a destructive partnership for our opponents. We gave a lot of six love over the years and we got a few. We were called Ebony and Ivory because we were so close. Billy was always gracious and very calm when we lost even after a strong tongue lashing from me. He would say to me we will live to fight another day.  Billy was my brother from another mother and my best friend. 

I will miss you my friend and may your soul rest in peace. I will never forget you bro and will always cherish the memories.
