Raymond "Ray" Jose González saw the face of God on February 24, 2017 after an extraordinary 87 years. He was born on March 28, 1929 in Guyama, Puerto Rico to Maria Dolores Rivera and José Ramón González. After his family moved to New York, Ray attended Morris High School in the Bronx, graduated from Long Island University and New York University. During his distinguished 30 plus year career at PriceWaterhouse he served a Partner-in-charge of the San Juan Office. He also served as Secretary of Treasury in Puerto Rico and loved working in politics. Ray was an exceptional golfer, die-hard Yankee fan, and Babe Ruth World Series Little League coach for the Puerto Rican team for years. A man of God, he was an avid Bible scholar who loved to share his faith. He is preceded by his parents, his sister Carmen Lowe and his best friend and brother Ralph González; his wives the former Ruth Handy and Wilda Vazquez. He is survived by the joys of his life--his three daughters; Wendie Previdi of Miami, FL, Beatriz González of Richmond, VA and Alice McDonald of Davie, FL; his grandchildren Richard Previdi, Dr. Bianca Previdi; Kyle & Shane McDonald and Sebastián Harris; and his great-grandchildren Victoria and Marcus Choo-Quan. There was no truer or more generous friend than Ray.
