Phil was born at Great Lakes Naval Hospital in Ft. Sheridan, IL on October 9th 1951. He went to Pompano High School and began a career in Law Enforcement with Pompano Police Dept.
Phil was married to Joanne Hineline on March 21st 1987; they were married 33 years.
Phil worked in Law Enforcement most of his life beginning in the 1970’s with Pompano Police Dept. Over the years he served Dania Police Dept, Lantana Police Dept, Jupiter Inlet Colony Police Dept, Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. He enjoyed motorcycle vacations, Las Vegas and his 1964 Ford Galaxy 500.
The funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, February 13th at Hollywood Hills United Methodist Church. Chaplain Bill Derryberry of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office will be officiating with Pastor Kevin Johnson. Visitation will be held at 4pm on Friday, February 12th at Hollywood Hills United Methodist Church. Burial will follow the funeral at Hollywood Memorial Gardens East with a Celebration of Life gathering afterward at Hollywood Hills United Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunter Funeral Homes.
