Marvin was born on October 29, 1978 in Miami, FL. He was the oldest of 3 children born to Madge Delores Williams and Jean Jacques Fequiere. In addition, he has 6 loving paternal siblings
Marvin was educated in both Miami-Dade and Broward County Schools. He was a standout singer and musician while he attended classes in the Carol City area. He later graduated from Cooper City High School, specializing in the food industry and culinary arts.
Marvin worked at a series of restaurants ranging from the luxurious side of South Beach to the Mountains of Atlanta, Georgia. He held many positions, including general manager and head chef. In his last days, Marvin finally achieved his dream and opened a fast casual restaurant named “& Cheese.” The restaurant has garnered nationwide attention from the media and celebrities. In his own words, it was his “greatest achievement.”
In addition to food, Marvin was also known for his love of music. Throughout his artistic career, he produced countless songs and productions. One in particular, Top Model, gave him an opportunity to showcase his skills and personality worldwide on hit TV Show “America’s Next Top Model.” The song was featured on Cycle 13 of the series as the elimination soundtrack.
The songs and food produced by Marvin will always be remembered by his father Jean Jacques Fequiere and his surviving siblings; Brothers Kristofer Thomas, Kevin Fequiere, Andy Nicolas, Jean Jacques Fequiere Jr. and Jacob Fequiere. Sisters Diana Gobern-Moss, Natalie Cunningham and Karlyne Fequiere. In addition, Marvin loved his remaining nieces, nephews and family members.
