Margaret Doris Russo age 92 of Plantation Florida, formerly of Inverness and Hollywood Florida, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at Westside Regional Medical Center. She was born February 25, 1925 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania to Andrew and Anna (Urban) Resetar. Margaret moved to South Florida in 1955 coming from New Jersey.
She was an active member of Saint David Catholic Church and the Saint David Women's Club in Davie.
Margaret is survived by her children, Jean Russo (Kenneth) Kephart of Plantation, Joseph J. Russo of San Francisco, CA and Janice Russo (Christopher) Pole of Plantation, FL, grandchildren, Calvin, Jimmy, Cameron, Michael, Nicholas and Robert; great grandchildren, Austin, Taylor and Penelope. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene J. Russo, her parents and siblings George, Andrew, Dorothy, Robert and infant brother.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 10:00 am at Saint David Catholic Church, 3900 South University Drive, Davie, Florida 33328. Interment will take place at a later date.
