Joan Yvonne Lawhorn, 80 years old, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, October 2, 2017 after complications from her brave battle with breast cancer that began in 2000. The daughter of Herbert C. Winsauer and Myrtle C. Weinaug Winsauer, Joan is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ralph, six children (Bunny, Dawn, Stephen, Lynne, Holly, and LaDonna), sons and daughter in-law, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, cousins and special friends from her childhood home of Seguin, Texas and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
