Christopher P. Brown was born on December 29th, 1949 in Hollywood, Fla. He grew up in Hollywood attending Little Flower School and Chaminade High School where he graduated in 1967. He graduated from Florida State University in 1971.
In 1980 he moved to Atlanta Georgia,where he worked for Citizen and Southern Bank. While working for C and S he received his MBA from Georgia State University.
While working at C & S, he was hired as an internal auditor for American Petrofina Oil Company and relocated to Dallas, TX. He retired from American Petrofina around 2005 but later he began a career as a longshoreman in 2008. He was still working at this trade when he passed away in New York City on 10/20/2014.
During his 34 years in Dallas. he was a very active member of St. Rita's Catholic Community Church serving as an usher and RCIA sponsor for over ten years. He had many friends in the Dallas area.
Chris was well loved by all who knew him from the other longshoremen who he worked with in Elizabeth New Jersey to his many friends in South Florida.
He is survived by his brother Timothy, his favorite Cousin, Kathy Lohse and his very good friend Lita Strubhar.
