Cathy Robertson

Cathy attended the Miami Public School System in Miami Florida. She attended Miami Jackson Senior High School where she graduated.

After High School Cathy worked different jobs until she started working at the United State Postal Services in 1999. She worked her way up retiring as Maintenance Supervisor of 22 years.

Cathy loved the Lord and was a devoted Christian. Cathy was a member at Universal Truth Center for Better Living, Inc. Upon meeting her wife in 2015 where they found their new church. Body of Christ Church in Oakland Park where the two married in 2018 becoming one under the union of God.

Cathy was very loving, caring, and passionate about family, friends, and all of Gods people. She loved dancing and listening to music and getting together with family and friends. Cathy also loved walking her dogs (Gabriel and Storm). Cathy loved the Lord and loved praising God. Cathy favorite prayer was (Lord, I thank you that I can fear no evil because you are with me. Help me to trust in your goodness and mercy all the days of my life. Amen).

Cathy departed this life on Saturday February 11, 2023. She was preceded in death by her mother Jannese Green Morley, Phillip Ronald Morley, John Carrington Morley Jr., and Bertha Mae Robinson.

Cathy leaves to mourn: Her wife Elizabeth Moore Robertson, Her brother, Anthony (Red Dog) Morley, two sister, Joann Morley Harris and Isabell G Milton, one sister-in-law, Daynette Lillian Morley, two brother-in-law, James Harris and Eugene Milton, four children Cen’obina Patterson, La-Rissa Mosley, Diarra Willams and Ibn Williams one son-in-law, Kevin Patterson and four grandchildren Kevon Patterson, Mason Melendez, Devin Patterson, and Noah Martin; and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and two dogs.

Cathy was a true blessing to know and be around. She lived her life to the fullest with love and laughter.  May her legacy of love continue through us all.
