Anne met her beloved husband, Tuan, when they were 15 years old. Together, they have built a life full of boundless love, joyful laughter, and incredible adventures. Anne was also a loving and devoted mother to Tyler, Max, and London. She was a pillar of strength, a source of comfort, and the “voice of reason.”
Anne was the absolute best Big Sister to Marie, Betty, Dianne, and Lucille. Anne was naturally poised to embrace the responsibility of being a positive role model in their lives. She was the epitome of selflessness and willingly prioritized the needs of her family before her own. Her thoughtfulness was evident in significant and subtle ways, whether she was assisting her sisters in navigating the challenges of being first-generation Vietnamese Americans or sharing well-chosen articles and helpful insights that she intentionally curated to each person’s interests. She embodied the true essence of unconditional love and sisterhood.
Anne also has seven nieces and nephews: Meaghan, Oliver, Vivienne, Kylie, Tobias, Miles, and Teddy, all of whom cherish her deeply. Her home served as the “nest” for daily family gatherings. Anne always said, “With such a large family, every day is a party.”
With the family, Anne and Tuan managed a salon that served the North Miami Beach community for the past 17 years. She left a positive impact on her colleagues and clients. She was known for her fair-mindedness, encouragement, and honesty. Anne was more than just a boss to many. She was a teammate who made everyone feel like they were part of her family. Many of her loyal clients became great friends and some became family as well.
Though spare moments were infrequent, Anne found solace in reading. She also loved traveling and exploring new destinations with the ones she loved most.
Although Anne is no longer physically with us, her spirit lives on in the love, laughter, and memories we shared together. And in that sense, Anne will never truly be gone, for she will live on in our hearts forever.
