Ronald Lee Bredeweg

Ron was born July 1, 1956 to Gerald and Margaret Bredeweg. He had a love for archery, hunting, and fishing, and enjoyed sharing this love with anyone he knew. Ron and his sons enjoyed riding dirt bikes together, and eventually started a new business venture together called My Trail Company Inc. in Zeeland, which he has owned with his son Mark since 2007. Ron’s favorites were the Honda Mini Trail CT70’s. He worked for Magna as a quality manager for the past 10 years. Ron enjoyed riding snowmobiles, go-karts, and electric scooters, had a love for music and spending Friday nights with his sons, but especially loved to spoil his grandchildren.

Ron was preceded in death by his mother Margaret.

He is survived by his wife Nancy (De Jonge) Bredeweg; sons Mark (Melissa) Bredeweg and Scott (Katie) Bredeweg; grandchildren Kendall, Erin, Eli, Noah, and Emma; sister Sharon (Jeff) Nienhuis; father Gerald Bredeweg; parents-in-law John (Judy) De Jonge; in-laws Vicky (Allen) Tubbergen, Joy (Doug) Smith, Julie (Kelly) Blauwkamp, Douglas (Ranae) De Jonge; many extended family and friends.

Funeral services to celebrate Ron’s life will be 1:00pm Saturday, February 25, 2023 at First Baptist Church, Zeeland.

Visitation will be immediately following the service at church until 3:00pm.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Bredeweg Children's College Fund C/O Nancy Bredeweg.
