Ronald Lee Bareman peacefully entered into the everlasting arms of Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 8th at the age of 83. He was born in Holland, MI on June 17,1937 to Martin and Martha Bareman.
Ron will be remembered for his soft gentle nature and unspoken generosity. He was a quiet man of great faith with a quick smile and an infectious laugh. Being an avid golfer, a really good day for Ron would be watching the sun go down after spending the day on the golf course with friends or family. However, nothing made him light up more than his wife of 63 years Luella (Lundy) whom he adored. He was happiest when they were surrounded by their children: Doug (Judy) Bareman, Lori (Brian) Holt, Grandchildren: Stephanie (Mike) DuMez, Jeff Bareman, Samantha (Matthew) Lybarger and 11 great grandchildren.
Being a self-made man, Ron owned and operated Northgate TV from 1963 to 1978. At that point he joined the family business of Bareman’s Dairy and retired at the age of 62. Ron and Lou enjoyed many winters in Lakeland Florida surrounded by countless friends.
He is survived by his wife Lou, 2 children, 3 grandchildren,11 great-grandchildren, and siblings, Phyllis (Robert) Dykstra, Janice (Paul) Van Dyke, Sandra (Charles) DenUyl and sister-in-law Alyce Bareman. Ron was preceded in death by parents Martin and Martha Bareman, brothers Ronald Dale and Stanley Hugh.
The time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:6b-8
The family will be having a private service at a later time.
