Roland was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Mary Ann Ramirez; father Jose Esparza Ramirez and mother Maria DeJesusa Ramirez Donnell; brother Robert E. Ramirez and special best friends Guadalupe and Esmeralda Lopez.

He is survived by his 5 daughters, Yolanda and Edward Salazar, Cynthia Ramirez, Valerie Ramirez and Jeremy Sanchez, Brandy Ramirez, Mandy Ramirez and Vicente P. Gomez; 19 grandchildren, Azalia Ramirez, Ashley N. Salazar, Amber M. Salazar, Roberto R. Alvarado, Edward I. Salazar, Eric L. Alvarado, Valentino Gutierrez, Antonio C. Gomez, Sienna M. Funeral services are planned for 1:00pm, Friday April 26, 2019 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland. Pastor Doyle Passmore will be officiating. Burial will be in North Holland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10am until the time of the 1:00pm service Friday at the funeral home.
