Randall Warren Cooley

Randall Warren Cooley, 73, of Holland, MI. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Born November 17, 1949, in Jackson, MI. He is the oldest son of the late Dr. Warren and Margaret Cooley. He is also preceded in death by his grandson, Jeremy Tien and brother Peter Cooley.

Randy was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outside with his family and friends. He loved being at the family farm in Jackson, where he would say there were no rules, just 285 acres of happiness. He would light up in the presence of his grandchildren, especially when sharing his love of nature. Randy had limited speech since his stroke in 2013, but never had trouble communicating his feelings. Those who got to know Randy, found a hardworking and fun-loving man who was always there for those that he loved.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy Cooley, his daughters Jennifer Tien (Jason), Betsey Michalak (Bob), and Katie Cooley-Finedell (Casey); grandchildren Dexter, Bryce, Shelby, Margaret and Patterson; brothers Charlie Cooley (Marsha) and Geoff Cooley (Karen) and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held Monday April 10th, 2023 at Fellowship Reformed Church, 2165 W Lakewood Blvd, Holland, MI 49424 with a 10am visitation and 11am service followed by a luncheon.
