Tom was born November 6, 1953 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Claude and Norma Jean Rogers. He graduated from Fruitport High School in 1973, and worked for Lear Corporation until his retirement. Tom was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing, and was a die-hard MSU Spartan fan. He enjoyed woodworking and loved his grandchildren dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother David Rogers.
Tom is survived by his wife Nancy Rogers; Children, Patti (Chris) D'avignon, Rob Rogers (Jessica Aten), Stephanie Vines, Nicole Jasinski, (Dawn Buckmaster); Grandchildren, Brittany, Lexus, Andrew, Jazmyn, Meya, Cole, Alexis, Kiptyn, Alona, Myla. Sydney, Jayce, Hailey; Brothers, Mike & Lynn Rogers – Florida, Robert & Linda Rogers – Michigan, Dewey & Marie Battles – Georgia; Sisters, Rita & Ed Fenton – Ohio, Debra & Ted Odel – Georgia, Donna Shreve - South Carolina
