I remember when Blake and went to visit Mike in Jacksonville. We were a lot younger then. Mike was single at the time. Blake and I drove up to spend the weekend with him.  He generously gave up his bed for us. After we left, he informed us that the sheets we slept on hadn’t been changed for about a year. 😂 That was Michael. Such a ham. I also remember Blake borrowing Mike NEW truck and Michael getting mad at Blake for putting boogers under the seat. 😂 Soooooo many memories. Love you, Micheal. 


My sincere condolence to Tonja and the entire family. Now all I can do is wish I could have enjoyed more of this gentle and funny man. He is resting in God's loving arms now. We lost a good one way too early.

I met Mike when I moved to Chattanooga for a job change.  His wit was the first thing I noticed.  He was sent to bring three of us into the building, and before any of even shook hands, he'd already made one joke about my short stature and another about the "booger green shirt" worn by a second newbie.

Mike was my kind of jokester, and I liked him immediately.

We became good friends quickly.  When my son and I went through a life change early in 2013 and needed a place to stay for a couple months, the first person I reached out to was Mike.  With graciousness and decency like I've rarely ever experienced, he and his family took us in during this time of need and somehow turned a rough patch into a true blessing.  This was when I really got to know Tanja and the boys, and my son Tom came away feeling like he had a whole new family.  We didn't lose touch when the Hannons moved out of Tennessee, and in 2018, we were excited and honored to reunite with Mike and his family here in Michigan.  It was great to have them all nearby again.

There are no words to express the depth of this loss and I won't try to reach for any.  I love and miss you, my friend.  We will meet again.

    

Linda and I send our condolences to the Hannon family. What a great loss to those that new him well. It's been a long time since I last saw Mike but I always tried to stay in contact with him and his brother Blake thru Aunt Jan. I remember seeing Mike, I think, for the 1st time, when I attended Uncle Ed's funeral in Florida years ago. Both him and Blake gave me the grand tour and talked about how much he and his brother loved water sports and the outdoors. He was a great family man, loved his family and was very proud of his kids. Rest in peace cousin Mike. May God give you many blessings for the wonderful life that you lived. 

Tanja, my sweet baby girl. I've known you since birth, gone through laughter and tears with you...I knew when you married Mike that you had found your place in life. To be a wife and mother, and the two of you were like peanut butter and jelly.  Mike was the perfect complement to balance your crazy personality and you were the perfect person to be a mother to his boys and love him unconditionally. 

Mike was a gentle soul and will be missed by everyone who ever crossed his path. My heart breaks for your loss my sweet baby girl. I love you and miss you and the boys. I wish I could just hug you right now. Know that I am always here for you.

I miss your, "hey Blakey", when we called each other on the phone.  We would ride our bikes all over town, even in full football gear to and from practices.  You even saved my life, once for sure, in the Cape as I got caught in a rip tide.  We had some great parties at the house while the parents were out of town.  You saved me from burning down the house by coming home just in time.   We took our punishments together as well as enjoyed our celebrations together.  We were a great team while fishing.  I caught the fish and you took it off the hook.  You passed your mechanical skills to your sons as well as your wit and humor.  I only need to look to them in order to see you again.  Love you Brother

Although I have not spoken to Mike in probably 35 years, I grew up with him and his brother Blake in Danvers, MA.   I have lots of great memories from all the  time spent at their house growing up and I always looked up to Mike.   He also gave me my first job covering his paper route. 
I am so sorry for your loss.  Thoughts and prayers to the whole family.

I only knew Mike a short time, however, in that time we became good friends. I will never forget the stories we shared or the time spent. Every conversation started with '"Hey Buddy!" I will treasure the experience of knowing Mike Hannon for my remaining time on this planet. 

I remember whenMichael  was born and his mom and dad were so excited as were we all. His Grandpa Cushing was so excited to meet him that he swallowed his fear of flying and flew to Massachusetts to meet him...... his first time flying! 
Mike never let me forget that I taught him how to burp and he swore I taught he and Blake how to pick their noses..... I will not admit that!
He was so good and funny and loving. He would call or email me and ask how I was feeling but never complained about himself. Michael, I will miss you and always love you!


I remember the first time I met Michael.. January 2004.. In Home Sound Florida.
It was actually the very first time Tanja and Mike met. I was at Tanya's house because of a major loss in my life. A loss that shook my life to the core.. These two got together and never looked back..
Will never forget coming to your house in Tennessee.. Mike half such a love for you and the boys..
Tanja, I hope that my prayers and the love in my heart can be enough for an ole friend that means the world to me.. I love you forever..I am so saddened 😭😭
