Marilyn Montgomery, age 78, of Grand Haven, peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022. She was born January 11, 1944 in Fremont, Michigan to Joe & Marie (Rottman) Tubergen. She will lovingly be remembered by her husband, Jeff Montgomery; daughters Michelle Burdick and Christine (Michael) Wissman; brother-in-law, James (Rachel) Montgomery; three grandchildren, Tiffany (Chad) Couturier, Cole and Clay Wissman; one great grandchild Kane Couturier; nephews, Ian, Tom, and Jeff Montgomery; niece, Kelsey Montgomery; relatives and friends.
Marilyn was kind, caring, and giving with a fun outgoing personality. She had an incredible ability to connect with every person and every student she ever met. She had a passion for teaching students with special needs and took particular joy in the last 11 years of her career when she and her team provided outstanding service to their preschool special needs students. She left an amazing legacy and will be greatly missed.
