Lynne Ann Rowan

Lynne was born in Holland January 1, 1943 to Marinus and Tillie (Waterkamp) Slayer. She was a member of Beechwood Church and worked for Old Kent Bank (now Fifth Third) for many years until retiring. Lynne was an exceptional seamstress, using her sewing skills to make alterations for many family and friends following retirement.

She is survived by her husband Marvin; Children, Randall Rowan, Jolene (Paul) Harris, Kathleen (Thomas) Hoonhorst; Grandchildren Rachael (Adam) McGlothlin, Terah (Corey) Koch, Samuel (Louise) Harris, Lukan (Sarah) Harris, Adam Harris, Gordon (Nicole) Hoonhorst, and Chester Hoonhorst; 9 Great-grandchildren; Sisters, Pam Howard, Nadine Nelson, Kim Wilson, Jodi Miller, Maureen Slayer, Kristi Northrup; sister-in-law Beverly (Jerry) VandeGutche; many extended family and friends.

A memorial celebration of Lynne’s life will be 1:00pm Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Beechwood Church, 895 Ottawa Beach Rd., Holland. Officiating will be Rev. Marlin Vis and Rev. Dave Lantz.

Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of the service at Beechwood Church on Saturday.
