LaVina Joyce Vannette age 94 passed away on November 21 2024.
She was born on November 22, 1929 and was the daughter of the late George and Nella Lokers and married Calvin Vannette on March 29,1948. Together she and Calvin raised five daughters. Calvin passed away on February 20, 1990. LaVina was an avid quilter and made hundreds of Dutch costumes over the years.
LaVina is survived by her children Glynda VanderZwaag, Kirk (Claudia) VanderWagen, Dave (Myrna) TerHaar, Pamela Nienhuis, Rick (Krista) DeWeerd. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren, her sister Norma Fortney, and several sisters in law.
A private family service is planned at Lakeshore Memorial Services.
