Justin Vork, at the age of 21, was called home to the LORD by his mother Susan Vork, his maternal grandmother Louise Deppe and his paternal grandparents Marvin and Marjorie Vork on April 8th of 2022. Justin leaves behind his father, Mark Vork, brothers Joseph Vork and Brian Dines, two nieces, Alexis and Nora Dines, one nephew, Christian Dines, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Justin was born to Mark and Susan Vork in West Olive, Michigan, home to the big blue lake where the wind blows across the sand dunes. Justin was always a quiet and observant kid with a loving heart for anyone who would listen and anyone who was in need. He got this loving heart from his mother who passed away from cancer in 2013. Justin lost a huge part of him when his mom passed away. He was never quite the same. He continued to live to the best of his ability; despite the depression; and was supported by his father Mark and brother Joseph.
In recent years, he became quite close to his father and they built a strong bond that will live on forever and ever. Justin looked up to his brother Joseph Vork, even though he didn’t want to admit it; and to be just like him but better.
Justin enjoyed taking care of the house and the million dogs his brother Joseph always brought home. The family beagle, Max, who is quite popular with family and friends; was loved very much by Justin. They were constant companions.
Justin enjoyed skateboarding, dirt biking, basketball, and camping trips to Ludington with his family. Justin could be seen hauling down 152nd Ave with one wheel up to the sky and one wheel on the ground for a half mile long on his green Kawasaki.
Even though Justin was loved dearly, unfortunately he didn’t always feel it. Justin wanted nothing more than to be heard, appreciated, and be a part of something greater. Justin’s death was not due to drugs or depression. He had a beautiful and gentle soul that was longing for that love and comfort he once had when his family was whole. Justin is now wrapped in his mother’s loving arms once again; and is awaiting the rest of his family to come home to be together again in the eternal gardens. Let Justin’s life be a lesson of enjoyment and passion. Let his death be a lesson of the importance of love and family. We will always love and remember you, Justin. Rest in paradise forever.
A visitation to celebrate Justin's life will be Friday, April 15, 2022 from 6-8:00pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland.
