Johannes (John) Heuvel

John was born in the Netherlands to Johannes and Cornelia, he emigrated to the US in 1955, and he lived in Williamsburg, Virginia. He married the love of his life, Marie, and they moved to Holland, Michigan. John was the Miller at Windmill Island, in Holland, for over 30 years. He was also talented at basket weaving and chair caning.

John is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Corrie, who was the apple of his eye.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Marie; children, Hans (Lori) Heuvel, Tina (Ted) Trevino, Jackie (Steve) Boss, Robin (Steve) Brandsen; siblings, Fred (Shoko) Heuvel, Gonnie (Howard) Lewis, Tina (Eric) Stoll, Jan (Lisa) Heuvel; sister in law, Susan Butler; 8 grandchildren and 3-1/2 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00pm, Thursday, August 6, 2015, at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, Holland, MI.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am-12:00pm, Thursday, August 6th, at Lakeshore Memorial Services.
