Daniel Lee DePree

Daniel De Pree, 58, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017, at Holland Hospital in Holland, Michigan. He was born to Vern and Betty De Pree in Holland and graduated from Holland High School in 1978. Dan was a skilled master electrician for 40 years and loved to spend time at the cabin. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Dan was loved and will be greatly missed!

Dan was preceded in death by his mother Betty De Pree, nephew Kyle Dryfhout, and brother-in-law Leon Lubbers. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Judy De Pree, son Doug (Cara) De Pree, daughter Michelle (Adam) Cook, grandchildren Bryce, Austin and Landon. He is also survived by his parents Vern (Pat) De Pree, sister Deb and parents-in-law Gradus (Florence) Lubbers, step-sister Cathy (Craig) Borst, brother-in-law Ron (Cathy) Lubbers and brother-in-law Ken (Karla) Lubbers.

A service to honor Daniel’s life will be 1 pm, Tuesday, December 19, at Lakeshore Memorial Services 11939 James Street, Holland. Visitation will be 11 am – 1 pm just prior to the service. Burial will be at Pilgrim Home Cemetery in Holland. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Outdoor Discovery Center in Holland.
