Chuck was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving his country for 21 years. Upon retiring from the Navy, he went to work for Carpet Bonanza, where he was still employed. He volunteered many years for Fishers of Men.
He is survived by his daughters, Sheryl Meeuwsen and Amanda Meeuwsen, both of California; parents, Jerry and Barb Meeuwsen of Zeeland; Sister and brothers, Lori Schepers of Zeeland, Joel and Sandy Meeuwsen of Holland, Marc and Brenda Meeuwsen of Zeeland; Special friend, Cindy Solow of Zeeland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A memorial celebration of Chuck’s life will be 7:00pm, Friday, May 1, 2015, at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland.
Visitation will be from 4:30-6:30 Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fishers of Men Ministries in Zeeland or to a food pantry of your choice.
