He was born March 9, 1922 in Niagara, Wisconsin the son of the late Joseph and Anna Goudreau. He was the seventh of eleven children. A veteran of World War II, serving with the 66th and 42nd Infantry Divisions. He attended the University of Wyoming during service and completed his education in Industrial Engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology. He retired in 1986 as Vice President of manufacturing from Vickers Hydraulics, Inc. He moved to Florida from St. Clair, Michigan in 1990.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Ruth Sandlbeck in 1983; and a grandson Daniel.
He is survived by his wife Doris; his 2 sons, Christopher of Columbia, MD, Mark of Eustis, FL; a daughter Sarah of Holland, MI; two sisters, Marcelline Barney of Dayton, OH, and Audrey Graham of Mohave Valley, AZ; Eight grandchildren; Five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 9am Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Northpoint Assembly of God, 4200 152nd Ave., Holland. A graveside committal with Military Honors will be 2:00pm Wednesday at Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, MI.
