Robert Lee Eis Sr.

Bob was born May 19, 1934 in Henry County, to Dallas and Leona (Hoffman) Eis.

Bob was a graduate of Holgate High School. On June 13, 1954 Bob married the love of his life, Bonnie Kay Curtis, and together they raised three children. He was a lifetime farmer, as well as an expert handyman and woodworker.

He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie, son Robert Jr., daughter Jill Peterson, son-in-law Randy Meyer, brother Jim Eis and brother-in-law Jim Moore.

Bob knew no greater love than that if his family and leaves to cherish his memory: daughter Kathy, sons-in-law Mark Heenan and Mark Petersen, daughter-in-law Kathy Norden, grandchildren: Erin (Alex) Perry, Kerry Orra, Ryan (Shannon) Eis, Joel (Lindsay) Eis, Bob Eis III, Leah (Trevor) Fruth, Randi (Adam)Fike, Trevor Meyer, Mathias, Isaac, Sam and Gabe Petersen, four great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Audrey Eis and Carol Moore and brother and sister-in-law Darrell and Donna Curtis, and well as many nephews and nieces.

Keeping with Bob’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Burial and graveside service will be held Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Cole Cemetery in Flatrock Township.
