William Timothy “Tim” Jones, age 70, of Sale Creek, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019.

Tim was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and a 1968 graduate of Red Bank High School. He served our country in the United States Navy during Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Zaza Jones; parents, Lawrence and Christine Jones; brother, Larry Jones and a sister, June Bridges

Tim is survived by his daughter, Anissa (Shane) Varner; grandson, Greggory (Jordan) Pack; sisters, Leslie Jones, Lettie Wise and Mary Glenn Averitt; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11 to 1 pm on Friday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Services will be private for the family. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343
