William E. “Bill” Burkhart, 72, of Hixson died Saturday, September 06, 2014 in Chattanooga. He was born May 4, 1942 in Hamilton County, Tennessee to the late Herman H. and Mary Sue Burkhart. He was preceded ijn death by his wife of 32 years Geraldine Burkhart. Mr. Burkhart was a graduate of Hixson High School, a Tennessee National Guard Veteran and was the owner and operator of Burkhart Electric.
Survivors include a brother Ronnie Burkhart and his wife Diane.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 am Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6-9.
