Heaven just got a little funnier with the arrival of Todd Christopher Roberson. Todd passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, February 29th. He was born March 3, 1965 in Chattanooga. Todd loved to laugh. He was so very funny, sometimes not even realizing how funny he was. He had wonderful facial expressions and was great at impersonations. His laughter was infectious. For whatever reason, the section of the newspaper he always read first were the Obituaries. He was always teased about this, but he always wanted to know if someone he knew had passed so he could share his condolences.
Todd graduated from Hixson High School in 1983. He began his career as a Front Desk Supervisor at the downtown Chattanooga Marriott when it first opened. He then moved to US Xpress where he worked for 22 years as a Billing Supervisor.
Todd had a huge heart and was very compassionate and caring for people. His spirit was beautiful, and he will be sorely missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Miller Roberson.
He is survived by his loving mother, Donlee Roberson, Chattanooga; his sister, Natasha Roberson Condra (Kevin), Chattanooga; aunt, Tina Watkins (Danny); many other aunts and uncles, cousins, special friends and his doggie niece Jennie Louise Condra who he adored.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, at Second Presbyterian Church 700 Pine Street Chattanooga, TN 37402. The family will receive friends from 3-4pm with a service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the King’s Chest Fund at Second Presbyterian Church.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
