Tim was born in Chattanooga, November 13, 1952, moved with his family to Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1963. He is a graduate of Plantation High School, and worked in sales of Mens Clothing and Grocery management. He was a member of Plantation Baptist Church. Tim moved back to Chattanooga in 1990, and will be missed for his smile and kind heart by family and friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Willard L. Burgess.
He is survived by his mother, G. Maxine Stancil Wood (James P.), Ft. Lauderdale, FL.; brother, Charles W. Moore, II (Kathy) Pell City, AL; uncle, Paul E. Stancil, Mobile, AL; nephews, Tristan C. Moore, Blacksburg, VA, Nicholas J. Moore, Hayesville, NC; several close cousins.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Sunday and 10 to 11 am on Monday at the North Chapel.
Services for Tim will be held at 11 am on Monday at the North Chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Tristan C. Moore, Nicholas J. Moore, Paul E. Stancil II, Mark Langston, Daniel Stancil and Russell Stancil serving as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
