Tim was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area. He graduated from Red Bank High School and with a degree in Accounting from UTC. Tim worked for a number of CPA firms in the area, eventually leading the Chattanooga Deloitte office. He later co-founded two Private Equity Firms and had a long and successful career.
Tim’s passions included travel, golf, poker and a good joke. He was a loyal and supportive husband, father, friend and colleague, and he will be missed by many.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Jewell Garner.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Judy Morris; his father, Don Garner; his daughter, Laura Morris, his son Tim Morris, Jr. and wife Susan, and granddaughters, Catherine, Avery, and Samantha Morris.
The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 4-7 on Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15 from 11-12.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made in Tim’s name to the Chattanooga Boys and Girls Club, the March of Dimes, or a charity close to your heart.
