Terry was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and a 1957 graduate of Chattanooga High School, where he met his loving late wife and high school sweetheart Eleanor, whom he adored since he was 15.

Terry enjoyed a life of boating and sport fishing throughout the US and Caribbean with his family and friends. Throughout his long life, he had many wonderful dogs, whom he loved as dearly as family members.
Terry was the life of the party, always joking and making his friends and family laugh. He was a proud husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
