I can't help but recall times of happiness in this sad time. I'll always feel blessed that I got to be a small part of his life. Teddy, I'll miss you.

Oh Ted... You were a gem buddy. I'll never forget the first time we met... you impressed me so much.
A kind and caring soul to the core. You deserved so much more than you got out of this life. It breaks my heart to know you are no longer with us.
You were the first inker I ever worked with... and boy how I admired you.

My heart and prayers are with all of Teddy's family and friends. I truly regret I wasn't able to take part in today's service. Teddy was a wonderful person and a good friend. We'll miss him dearly.

Teddy was a fixture at our shop since we opened, and it won't be the same without him. There was nobody quite like Teddy -- he would strike up a conversation with anyone, he had a million stories to tell, and was always creating. Teddy lived his life and will be remembered as a true character like in the comic books he enjoyed. We will miss you, Teddy.

I have been blessed to have such a caring and talented cousin as Ted (Doodle Bug as we used to call him). I was always in awe of his drawings and thought he was one of the most talented people I knew. He had a big heart and cared for us all, as we did him too. He will be missed by all of us. Our prayers are with you Aunt Babe, Carol, Fred and Tammy, and Thomas and Shea.

Teddy, such a talented, spirited person who seemed to immerse himself in adventures that others would find exhausting. Rest in peace dear Teddy. My condolences to his mother, siblings, and friends. 

Teddy Joe Whittenbarger, became a friend to me back when I was working at lifetouch.  His unexpected passing was a shock to me. I remember such cool times with him hanging out at his house and at my house. I will miss you my friend.

I am so sad to learn about Teddy. He was a gentle giant. I worked with Teddy for years at Olan Mills/ Lifetouch/ Shutterfly. To say he was interesting to talk to doesn't even begin to define it. He always had something to add to a conversation. He didn't like change and the last  few years of employment were hard. 
It was hard for him to not have his work friends. I will always remember him coming into my office to tell me goodbye and I thanked him for his service, dedication, and for making my life enjoyable. Through tears he hugged me BIG.

I've known Teddy since elementary school. I remember he would stay inside during recess and draw pictures. Teddy was a kind, talented person, and I will miss him.

Teddy was such a gentle soul, so creative and talented. This is such an incredible loss. My deepest condolences to his loved ones.
