Tawanna Beck Williams, 60, of Soddy Daisy passed away on January 1, 2018. She was an amazing mother, daughter, sister and friend that touched several lives. She retired from TVA after working for 35 years. Tawanna loved fishing, traveling, glass work and spending time with family and friends. She was an animal lover and especially loved her dogs, Willow and Maple.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Hughes and sister, Margaret “Sissy” Hammontree.
She is survived by her father, Franklin Hughes; daughter, Tashina Williams; siblings, Billy (Denise) Hammontree, Maria Hughes Smith, Paula Gladney and Sharon Brooks; half-brother, Donald Beck; half-sister, Pam Beck Kober; nieces, Serena Delgado, Kaitlon Brooks; nephews, Shawn Hammontree, Tommy Millsap, Andrew Millsap, Austin Brooks and Zac Gladney along with several great nieces and great nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2 from 5 pm to 8 pm, Wednesday, 11-2 and 4-8 pm, and Thursday from 11-1 at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel.
A funeral service will follow visitation Thursday at 1 pm at the funeral home with Bro. Doyle Williams officiating. Committal service will be held at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
