Suzanne Odom Scott

She was a wife, mother, and teacher at Thrasher Elementary School. Sue graduated from Chattanooga High School and University of Tennessee Knoxville where she was a member of Chi Omega fraternity and Chattanooga Junior League.

Sue was the daughter of the late Bill and Lyda Odom and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Scott, Jr.

She was a member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her sister, Lou Oliphant, of Signal Mountain; three children, Valerie, of Charleston, S.C.; Rob, of Soddy-Daisy; Ben and wife, Elisabeth, of Atlanta; two grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, Sept. 29 at 3pm. at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, Marr Chapel, with the Dr. Bill Dudley officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
