Susan was the daughter of the late David and Jeannine Champ Albert.
Susan was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and the J. Fred Johnson Sunday school class. For several years she had owned Susan’s Kopper Kettle Restaurant, and a past employee of Manor House assisted living and currently the activities director for East Ridge Retirement Center.
Susan is survived by her loving Husband of 41 years: William Quin Barfield, sons: William Scott Barfield, and Philip Albert Barfield; three grandchildren: Zachary Quin Barfield, Lucas Owen Phillips and Natalie Nichole Phillips, and brother David Michael Albert, sister, Sandra Lee Brewer and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm on Wednesday at the North Chapel.
Graveside services were held 3 pm on Wednesday, November 21, at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens with her brother-in-law Rev. Danny Barfield officiating.
