Steven A Hauke, 70, passed away on Wednesday August 17, 2016. He lived in Chattanooga TN since 1987. He lived his early years in Evansville IN. He has been married to Lois Hauke for 49 years. He is survived by his three children Matt Hauke (Cindy), Mike Hauke (Stephanie) and Suzanne Byrd (Charlie) and five grandchildren Emily, Ben, Jack, Will and Allie. He is also survived by his brother Jim Hauke(Jane) of Evansville IN. Steve enjoyed fishing, grilling, and camping at Land Between The Lakes, KY. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He taught us all to live life and love fully. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Emma Lee Hauke.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Chattanooga Funeral Home on Hwy 153 Hixson, TN on Friday from 4pm to 8pm and Saturday 2pm-5pm. There will be a small service held at 5pm at the Chattanooga Funeral Home. A private committal ceremony will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
