Mrs. Semmie L. Ford-Brown passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 after a long illness. Semmie was born in Georgia on September 28, 1931 to the late Robert C. and Mary Baggett. She enjoyed cooking and travel and loved time with her family. She was a member of Bayside Baptist Church. She had a long career in photographics and became co-owner of Hinkle Photographics. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Laurell Ford.
Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Brown; daughter, Sharon (Mike) Little; two grandchildren, Michael (Brandy) Little and Katie (Landon) Mason; seven great grandchildren; and several step-children and grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 18th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev Grady Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
