Scott Alan Duncan, age 52, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away Monday, October 5, 2020, after a sudden diagnosis with aggressive cancer. Scott was a dearly loved son, brother, father, uncle and friend to many. Some of his passions in life were watching his boys play baseball, fishing, and going to the beach.
He is survived in this life by his parents, Jerry and Linda Duncan; brothers, Mike (Linda) Duncan and Randy (Amy) Duncan; three sons, Mitch, Wesley, and Reece Duncan; partner, Debbie Smith and her children, Tucker and Kendall Smith; nieces and numerous friends. Scott is preceded in death by grandparents, Vernon and Lena Duncan and George and Imogene Morrow; aunt, Joyce Poythress; and uncle, William Duncan.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4-8 pm and Friday from 11 am -1 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. A Celebration service will be in the funeral home chapel Friday at 1 pm officiated by Van Ferguson. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
