Annabelle, June, Gary & Families: We are children of Malcolm and Beulah Brown.  Our families have been friends since the beginning of time, it seems. As I read the condolences from family members, I could see that Ruth was a precious soul. I remember visiting your Mother/Grandmother, Irene Harris, every time Daddy and I would go to visit my Uncle Harrison. She was such a sweet lady. We appreciate all that June and Annabelle have done for us in the last few years as we have lost several loved ones. May God give you the peace that surpasses all understanding. So sad to learn of the death of Ruth--my dear aunt!  I had a great visit with her earlier this year and she was happy and at peace--seemed to be enjoying her new home . We shared many past memories and laughed a lot! Rest in Peace dear Ruth!

Ruth was the perfect sister-in-law. There were so many unforgettable memories made with this crazy woman. Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn were coming to Memorial Auditorium and she had the bright idea we “were going “. It didn’t matter we didn’t have tickets and concert was sold out so we hung out at side doors or anywhere people were going in and out. She grabbed my hand and drug me inside when somebody came out of a side door. We watched empty seats from side curtain until she decided they were a no show. We only had to move one time before we found some really good seats . She looks over at me and says “ I told you we would see this concert. I don’t know any other person that would even think about pulling this stunt but Ruth. Love you Ruth. You will be missed.
