Mr. Roy Stanley Mayberry

Roy Stanley “Stan” Mayberry, 78, of Hixson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2022 surrounded by his family at his home. Stan was born on Tuesday, July 11, 1944 to Pete and Isabella Mayberry.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nancy Reynolds; and granddaughter, Alexis “Lexi” Jade Mayberry.

Stan retired from the United States Postal Service after 40 years of dedicated service.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Bobbie Mayberry; daughters, Tracey (Keith) Walls, Treena (Keith) Thomas; Tresly Mayberry and Trista Mayberry and adopted son, Evan Mayberry; grandchildren, Zachary (Claire) Hester and Anna Hester, Bradley and Brayden Thomas, and Justin Walls; sisters, Rilda (Ray) Marler and Brenda (Jimmy) Callahan; brother, C.L. Mayberry; as well as a host of other family and friends.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, November 8th at 10:00 am at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5351 Hwy 153, Hixson, with Pastor Terry Davis officiating.

The family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
