Ronnie Wene, 81, of Soddy Daisy died Thursday, January 14, 2021. He was born February 25, 1939 in Nashville, Tennessee. A son, Timothy Brent Wene, preceded him in death.
Mr. Wene was a faithful member of Rechoboth Baptist Church. He was a member of Kiwanis International. Mr. Wene retired from Tennessee American Water Company as Vice President and General Manager. He and his wife were owner operators of Guardian Alarm Systems for many years.
He loved to farm, tractors and tractor pulls. He enjoyed traveling and going to see his grandchildren and was an avid Kentucky Wildcats Basketball and Alabama Football fan.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Bonnie Wene; sons, Clayton Wene, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Rechoboth Baptist Church, 12622 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379. From 12-2 Thursday, January 21, 2021 funeral services will follow at 2:00 with Pastor Allan Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
