He was a veteran of the US Army, a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, enjoyed watching UT football, hunting, and fishing.
Bob had a 30 year career with State Farm, where he was a claims adjuster.
He was of the Church of God faith.
Bob always enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Y. and Annie Lee Ferrell Stroud; 3 sisters, Margaret Ruth Williams, Edna Hayes, and Nora Fair.
Bob is survived by his sister, Velma Irene Stroud Foge, of New York, and 9 nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 10:30 AM in Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
